Yorkshire Women have signed England all-rounder Em Arlott prior to the start of the 2027 domestic season. After leaving Warwickshire Women, the 28-year-old will begin a three-year contract with the Headingley-based county on November 1.
The right-handed hitter has a plenty of international experience. She has played ten times for England Women in a variety of formats and claimed fifteen wickets.
Em Arlott is Yorkshire’s second major English recruit since they were granted professional status before the 2026 season. Sarah Glenn, a spinner from The Blaze, signed a two-year contract with White Rose County last year.

I could sense Rich (Pyrah) and Gavin Hamilton’s vision for this club when I spoke with them, and it is really appealing to have the chance to play with cricket players like Lauren Winfield-Hill and Jess Jonnassen. On Yorkshire’s official website, Em Arlott stated, “These are game legends, and I feel ready to help get Yorkshire to the very top.”
Among the talented athletes Em Arlott will be joining are Ami Campbell, Lauren Winfield-Hill, Jess Jonnassen, Sterre Kalis, and Glenn.
The all-rounder has only made eight appearances for Warwickshire this season. The 28-year-old was forced to leave the England squad during a One Day International (ODI) match against New Zealand earlier this season because of concussion protocol.
In the Women’s T20 Blast, she did play for the Bears against Yorkshire, where she scored an undefeated 15 in the first innings before taking two wickets in the second.
In their first season as a professional team, Yorkshire placed fifth in the 2026 Women’s T20 Blast, ahead of Lancashire and Warwickshire. But in the current One Day Cup, they are second from bottom and one spot ahead of Essex.
