Indian batter Pratika Rawal has signed with Warwickshire to support them for the remainder of the 2026 season. The 25-year-old joined the team ahead of their upcoming One Day Cup games and will be eligible for selection for Warwickshire’s August 19 encounter against Yorkshire at Edgbaston.
Pratika Rawal has quickly established herself as one of India’s most promising batters since making her debut for the nation in 2024.
In just 26 List A games, she has amassed 1,189 runs at an exceptional average of 47.56, proving her dependability in the 50-over format.
She also had an outstanding 2025 Women’s World Cup campaign, finishing as the competition’s second-highest run scorer with 308 runs. Her historic century against New Zealand in a pivotal match proved vital for India, even though she was ousted from the knockout stages due to an ankle ailment.
Earlier this year, Pratika Rawal made her Test debut against Australia, scoring a composed half-century in the second innings. She is now expected to return after recovering from an injury she sustained during India A’s second one-day match against England A in Taunton on July 1, which kept her from participating in India’s most recent Lord’s Test against England.
