In his Caribbean Premier League (CPL) debut for the Guyana Amazon Warriors, Mehidy Hasan Miraz made an instant impression by collecting three wickets for thirteen runs. Mohammad Nabi left the competition to join Afghanistan for a T20 International series against India beginning on September 13. The Bangladeshi spinner joined the Warriors as a like-for-like replacement.
