Vaibhav Sooryavanshi‘s batting style and his capacity to achieve at an international level despite his youth have been commended by Shikhar Dhawan. The former India opener emphasised the teenager’s approach when playing against well-established teams and his confidence in smashing boundaries.

At a surprisingly young age, Sooryavanshi has already had a big impact on international cricket. At 15 years and 118 days, the teenager became the youngest batter in men’s T20I history to reach a half-century. With 151 runs, he was India’s leading scorer in the Zimbabwe T20I series, which India won 3-0.

Sooryavanshi’s early successes in T20I

Sooryavanshi scored 14, 13, and 15 in his first three Twenty20 International matches against England. Despite his lack of top-level experience, his performances showed that he could adjust to playing international cricket.

Senior players like Dhawan have already taken notice of his eagerness to play positively and take on bowlers.

The left-handed hitter has advanced quickly via the ranks. He is a potential player for the future of Indian cricket because of his aggressive style and technical proficiency at such a young age. The youth has the potential to be an important player for India in the years to come, as seen by his performances in both local and international cricket.

With Ishan Kishan leading the team, the youthful player has now been included in the East Zone squad for the Duleep Trophy and will act as vice-captain.
