Usman Tariq revealed that while his bowling style was being questioned, Sunil Narine got in touch with him. The Pakistani bowler received counsel from the West Indian spinner, who has been questioned about his behavior throughout his career, on how to handle the ongoing criticism.
Tariq disclosed the conversation while speaking with former Pakistani batter Fawad Alam. After Narine called, Tariq and Narine discussed the issue for around half an hour. “Sunil Narine called me, and we spoke for almost half an hour. “Don’t react to what these people are doing,” he advised me. They are only acting in this way because they are unable to select you. “Just keep doing what you’re doing,” Tariq stated, as reported by the Hindustan Times.
Sunil Narine’s counsel to Usman Tariq
Tariq elaborated on Sunil Narine’s perspective during the call. Sunil Narine asserted that their actions were driven by frustration at not being able to pick him, but the Pakistani spinner stressed that all of their gestures happened after he removed them, not while they were still batting.
Just two days ago, Narine gave me a call and spent nearly thirty minutes talking about the problem. He told me to keep doing what has been effective for me and not react to such signals, Tariq added.
He said that all of their gestures occurred after I dismissed them rather than while they were still batting, and that their behaviors were motivated by irritation at not being able to pick me. He clarified that he was merely sharing his experience because he had also gone through that stage of his career.
Sunil Narine used his own experience to assist Usman Tariq. He explained that since he had gone through that phase of his career himself, he was just sharing his experience. Sunil Narine’s actions have been questioned multiple times, and he has been suspended twice as a result. He has however passed every test and resumed playing cricket.
Usman Tariq bowling action experience
Usman Tariq bowling style has come under fire in recent months. He was cleared after passing two biomechanical tests at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore. Tariq’s hypermobile elbow makes it difficult for him to fully straighten his arm during bowling. There have been two reports of his odd behavior during the Pakistan Super League. Some batters, like Cameron Green and Tom Banton, made throwing motions during games that appeared to be responses to facing Tariq.
