The timing of the post, though, has left the netizens wondering whether Kane is taking a cheeky dig at the possible dethroning of Ben Stokes as the captain of England’s cricket team.

Notably, Stokes has been having a bad time of late. While he led England to a brilliant Test win against New Zealand in the first match at Lord’s, the post-match attendance at a sports bar during late hours of the night following the game and a brawl with a rugby player alongside fellow teammate Gus Atkinson has taken the cricketing fraternity into a moment of shame, asking the cricketer to step down.

However, Kane also tagged the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the post, the current IPL champions, which also took them away from rumours, as Stokes has never been associated with RCB.
