The Perth Scorchers have announced the re-signing of England left-hander Freya Kemp for the 2026 Women’s Big Bash League. The 21-year-old power hitter returns to the club after making an immediate impact during her previous appearance in the competition.

Freya Kemp ability to speed scoring in the lower order was a highlight of her tenure with the Scorchers. Her return offers depth to a squad that already includes experienced combatants like Beth Mooney and Alana King. The Scorchers won their first WBBL title in 2021-22 and will look to build on that success with a competitive group for the upcoming season.
