With over 150 first-class wickets at an average of 27.39, the Canterbury bowler brings a wealth of first-class experience to Trent Bridge. He has represented Canterbury in domestic cricket and played for Glamorgan in 2024.

Fraser Sheat was called up to the New Zealand A team for a four-day match against Sri Lanka A in April 2026 due to his recent performance. He proved his versatility throughout that match by dismissing Test-capped opener Nishan Madushka and scoring an undefeated 61 from 60 balls.
